About Library
The college library was established in the year 1970. The library holds a collection of 18000 books which covers all the conventional and restructured subjects, languages, literature and also books for general reading etc.
Library was accommodated in to a spacious with 3 separate halls one room for main library another is used for circulation section and one big room for Reading room/reference section. The library is built in 4000 sqare feet area.
The main library hall is used for the Competitive exam section, digital library, reprographic section and periodical section. The circulation room is used for library stock area of all subject textbooks and circulation section. Library reading room is accommodated in a spacious hall with a seating capacity of more than 100 students and holds the reference collection also.
Our college library is a resourceful and state-of-the art with E-Library systems. The Library has a collection of around 18000 volumes of books which covers all branches of areas dealt in the college. It supports the teaching and learning process of users through providing required reading materials (Print and Electronic) such as UG Textbooks, Reference books, Competitive Examination books, PG Entrance books, General reading books, Journals, Magazines, Newspapers, e-books, e-journals (N-LIST) and also provides access to Syllabus copies and previous Question papers to the staff and students and opens the doors to the wide world of books which encourages reading for gain of knowledge and pleasure.
The Digital library/Internet center having the bandwidth of 100 Mbps and the library has three systems that are used for accessing e-Resources and Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) facility has been provided for search and retrieval of documents in the library. The college library is a member of INFLIBNET N-LIST e-resources. It provides In-house/remote access to e-resources like e-journals and e-books in a different subject. It provides access to more than 6000+ e-journals (including current issues with 10 years back files) and 1,35,000+ e-books.
The College Library is installed KOHA open source library automation software in order to automate the library collection and services. The library automation work is under progress.

Departmental Activities
Besides the regular activities of the library, it is also conducting the following activities to create awareness among the students to know the library resources and wide horizons of career opportunities.
Celebrating National Library Week
The Library every year celebrating the “National Library Week” from 14th to 20th November and National Librarian's Day on 12th ,August. On this occasion to inculcate the reading habits in the students the library department conducting different activities like G.K.Test, Competition, G.S. Test,& Easy writing competition ext. and giving prizes to winners and also conducting Book Exhibition, Orientation programme and guest lecture to the student.
Presenting Best Library User prizes
Library department every year on eve of college annual day celebration presenting Best Library User prizes to those students and lecturers who are visiting the library regularly and utilizing the library materials effectively.
